Balance

This program is for individuals who have a loss of balance or unsteadiness on their feet. Patients that respond well include those diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, CVA (stroke), etc. These patients typically do not experience dizziness. Emphasis of treatment is to improve balance through an exercise program that addresses coordination, functional movements and reduces fall risk. Treatment will also include activities on a harness system called the Solo-Step that allow for patient movement while safely suspended from a ceiling track that allow for controlled movements like walking without an assistive device, turning, stepping over obstacles, & stepping onto soft or unstable surfaces.

The Solo-Step Overhead Track and Balance System allows patients to challenge themselves with advanced vestibular and balance therapies! The harness system creates a safe environment for balance, strength, and gait training. Eliminate the fear of falling down during therapy while building confidence!
